Today the US Department of Veterans Affairs certified NineFX, Inc. as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The certification by the Center for Verification and Evaluation enables us to participate in the VA’s Veterans First Contracting Program. We are excited to bring our capabilities to help the VA deliver services to fellow veterans.
NineFX is one of only four VA-certified companies in South Carolina with a primary industry code of “Custom Computer Programming Services”. We are the only company in South Carolina that is an SBA-certified HUBZone and VA-certified SDVOSB.
Certification allows NineFX to partipate in Vets First contracting program. The Vets First Contracting Program within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) was created under Public Law, P.L. 109-461. This contracting program was created for Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and expanded the Service-Disabled Veteran contracting program for VA procurements.
The Veteran business owner and the Government mutually benefit from this program. Upon approval, the Program Participant has documented proof of eligibility. This gives confidence to VA that set-asides are being awarded to legitimate firms owned and controlled by Veterans or Service-Connected Disabled Veterans. This helps stimulate the small business community and create growth for the economy.
The HUBZone program encourages economic development in historically underutilized business zones - "HUBZones" - through the establishment of preferences. It provides competitive and sole source contracting opportunities. It also offers 10% price evaluation preference in full and open contract competitions.
NineFX is certified as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) by the US Department of Veterans Affairs Vets First Verification Program. It ensures that set-aside funds are awarded to legitimate firms owned and controlled by Veterans and Service-disabled Veterans. VA-certification enhances access to contracting opportunities inside the VA.
